the story of a woman sniper

this photo shows the same woman at one year intervals - no food - people even boiled books 



this woman was married to a member of the communist party.  She got news he had been killed.  She decided she wanted to buy a tank and so she did embroidery to sell until she had enough money to buy a tank - she then trained to drive the tank.  Unfortunately she was killed just one week before the end of the war.
